2. Design Complexity
Simple solid shapes are generally easier to produce than designs with narrow letters, deep recesses, complex openwork or many small sections. Fine details may require additional artwork adjustment, mold work, sanding or manual finishing.

For this reason, the unit price for 1,000 pieces is normally lower than the unit price for 100 pieces of the same design. An order containing ten different designs at 100 pieces each also has a different cost structure from one design at 1,000 pieces, because every design may require separate development, setup and inspection.

4. Sanding and Polishing Requirements

Products with narrow openings, hollow letters, curved edges or integrated back posts may require additional hand finishing. Matte, textured and antique effects use different finishing processes, but they still require the base surface to be prepared correctly.








8. Packing and Quality Requirements
Bright plated surfaces can scratch when products touch each other during transportation. Protective film, individual wrapping or separated packing may therefore be required. 5. Plating Color and Surface Finish
Gold, silver, gunmetal, rose gold, antique and other plating colors can involve different process requirements. The final cost may also be affected by whether the surface is bright, matte, brushed, sandblasted or antique, as well as by the required protective coating and compliance specifications.

6. Enamel Colors, Painting and Epoxy
Adding one or more enamel colors requires color preparation, filling, cleaning and inspection. Enamel colors can be matched according to Pantone references, but every additional color or very small color area may increase production time and inspection requirements.
Epoxy or clear resin may also be added when the design requires a protected or domed surface. The factory should review the recessed area, edge height and expected appearance before confirming this process.
